Erica Brown, Lead Vocalist:
In Erica’s words the blues are "my musical love". She has worked with some of the finest artists in the country, and has shared stages with “Steady Rollin” Bob Margolin, Tab Benoit, Kenny Neal, Delbert McClinton, Sonny Rhodes, Debbie Davies, Bernard Allison, John Nemeth and Larry McCray, to name a few.  Her vocals were featured in the Sony Pictures movies, “The Fan”, with Wesley Snipes and Robert DeNiro in 1996, as well as the critically-acclaimed 2005 CD “African Wind” released by the Northern Blues Label, and the 2006 CD “Smoke and Mirrors” released by MojoHand Records.  In 2007 she contributed backing vocals to the CD projects of Slim Cessna’s Auto Club, and Steve Crenshaw and the Blues Shop.

Rich Sallee, Bass, Harmony and Background Vocals:
Rich has played bass for over 30 years. For 18 years he played bass and wrote music for the contemporary jazz group, Images, which had six national releases, three of which made Top Ten on radio. Rich has also played with blues and rock artists like Fenton Robinson and Cash McCall. He worked several years with Jeff Cook, who co-wrote many songs with Tommy Bolin for Energy, The James Gang and Deep Purple. Mr. Cook is currently Radio Promotions Director for the New West Record Label. Rich is also featured on the CD “Ze-NOTES” released in 2006 by “Sons of Zeno” (Dennis Chamberlain and Bruce Bouck)

Scotty Rivera, Drums, Lead, Harmony and Background Vocals:
One of the nation’s finest trap set players, Scotty adds the drive to this style of blues and R&B music, in addition to impeccable harmony and vocals. He started playing drums at the young age of 4 and perfected his trade in the Motown Capital of Detroit. Scotty's had the pleasure of recording with Kurt Kinzel, (Capricorn Records), Butch Trucks, Stevie Wonder, Jon Bon Jovi, and The Allman Brothers. Scotty also played many years with blues guitar legend Sam Mayfield (musical director for Solomon Burke) and his blues revue.  In 2007, Scotty played a number of dates with Northern Blues recording artist Eddie Turner.

Jon Woodhead, Lead Guitar:
Jon is truly a “guitar veteran” having served stints with such world class artists as Maria Muldaur and Leon Russell for many years in his musical travels when he came to the EBB.  Jon’s soulful guitar work and his ability to “surrender” to the feeling that flows through his fingers is contagious, and he will take you along on his musical journey to that amazing place where all you need to do is “feel”.

Guest Artists:

Eddie Devil Boy Turner

Eddie Turner: (http://www.eddiedevilboy.com)

Eddie “devilboy " Turner picked up his first guitar, a candy apple multi-pickup Japanese Tiesco, when he was twelve. Raised in Chicago, he moved to the Rockies in the early 70's to attend the University of Colorado; “a ruse,” he says, “to get my parents to keep sending checks.” More inspired by music than by academia, Turner immersed himself in the local scene, and stints with some notable acts ensued. He played in the region’s first punk/r&b band The Immortal Nightflames, then with Grammy nominees Tracy Nelson, Mother Earth, and the 4-nikators, a group which has become legendary for its unique mix of soul, Motown, and rock. Turner got the chance to grab at the brass ring when Colorado compadre Tommy Bolin left his band Zephyr to form The James Gang and Deep Purple. He eagerly joined the hard rock, psychedelic, blues band as a guitarist, singer and songwriter. A decade later, when Eddie was invited to join the Ron Miles electric band led by one of the country’s premier trumpeteers, he jumped at the chance. Then, in 1995 he rounded out the Otis Taylor Band. Enhancing the spice and flavor of the trio, Eddie recorded five groundbreaking CDs, and toured the U.S. and Europe extensively. Today, as well as turning out his first solo effort, Rise, he lends his extensive talents to the front line of the Erica Brown Band.
